Every idea begins with a blank page. What happens next can get complicated.
'A Brief History of an Unfinished Idea' transforms the creative process into an impossible world rising from an open book—towering architecture, ticking clocks, suspended globes, gears, stairways, and fragments of machinery held together by equal parts structure and chaos.
Rendered in warm, weathered neutrals with unexpected flashes of orange, the piece combines surrealism, fantasy, and vintage illustration into something designed to reveal new details the longer you look at it.
For writers, artists, filmmakers, musicians, readers, dreamers, professional overthinkers—or anyone whose imagination has ever built something considerably larger than the idea that started it.
An original Stacey Alan Spivey design.
